Jim Allen, Sloan Valve Co.'s Water Conservation Division manager and a LEED®-accredited professional, presented an educational session at the National Green Building Conference & Exposition, held at the Ottawa Congress Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. In his presentation titled "Best Practices for Water Conservation in Commercial Buildings," Allen discussed the issues of water conservation and how water plays a key role in green building design. He highlighted how the need for sustainable water strategies continues to drive new innovations.
