Phyn, the industry leader in intelligent water solutions announced an evolution of its product ecosystem at InsureTech Connect (ITC), including the Phyn Protect, Phyn Assist, and the Phyn Protect XL Series. The company is also partnering with Asurion across its full suite of LeakProtect offerings and introducing the Phyn Partner Advantage program, designed to help insurance carriers and agencies make proactive water protection more accessible to policyholders.

Together, the expanded portfolio extends Phyn’s water protection technology across a broader range of residential and commercial properties. Phyn Protect becomes the company’s flagship leak detection system, combining whole-home monitoring with automatic shutoff; Phyn Assist offers whole-home monitoring in a "simple, low-cost, DIY friendly solution without automatic shutoff; and the Phyn Protect XL Series extends Phyn’s technology to larger homes and commercial properties.

“Insurance carriers are looking for practical, scalable ways to move from reacting to water damage to preventing it, and Phyn is uniquely positioned to help them make that shift,” said Ryan Kim, CEO of Phyn. “Our expanded portfolio gives insurers and their agency partners a comprehensive range of intelligent water protection solutions for more homes and properties, with simple installation, low upfront costs, and flexible subscription models. By making proactive water monitoring and protection easier to deploy, we’re helping insurers strengthen policyholder relationships while addressing one of the most common and costly sources of loss.”

“The home of the future isn’t just going to be smarter, it’s going to be more resilient,” said Jonathan Scott, entrepreneur, home renovation expert, and CEO of Scott Brothers Global. “I’ve seen how vulnerable a property can be to something as simple as a hidden leak, and I’ve also seen how technology can change that equation. Phyn gives homeowners a simple, affordable way to know what’s happening with their water and take action before a small problem becomes a major loss. As the industry rethinks how homes are built and protected, proactive technologies like Phyn need to be part of that conversation.”

Water Protection for Larger Properties: The Phyn Protect XL Series

The Phyn Protect XL Series, including the Phyn Protect XL 1.5 and the Phyn Protect XL 2, addresses the growing demand for water-efficiency solutions for larger properties, bringing Phyn’s water-sensing technology to larger homes, multi-family, and commercial properties with supply lines up to 2 inches.

Introducing Phyn Protect

Succeeding Phyn Plus, Phyn Protect becomes the company’s flagship whole-home smart water monitoring device. Protect carries forward the same high-definition pressure and ultrasonic flow sensing, industry-leading reliability, and automatic shutoff capability that made Plus the choice of carriers and builders, while introducing a new enclosure, lighter colorway, and design and engineering refinements to further enhance quality and durability.

Phyn Smart Water Assistant is Now Phyn Assist

Built on Phyn’s award-winning Smart Water Assistant, the Phyn Assist introduces a new  installation design that simply connects to the washing machine's cold water supply line, making it easier for homeowners to install without professional help. Using Phyn's unique HD pressure-sensing technology and patented AI-powered intelligence, now trained on more than 4 billion water events, the Assist monitors plumbing throughout the entire home to identify leaks, from running toilets and dripping faucets to pinhole leaks and burst pipes.

Phyn Partner Advantage Program

Phyn is further strengthening its role as a strategic technology partner to the insurance industry with the launch of its Partner Advantage Program, a comprehensive ecosystem designed to help insurance agencies, brokers, and carriers make proactive water loss prevention more accessible to homeowners. The program provides dedicated partner support, rapid onboarding, referral benefits, insurance-specific training, co-branded marketing resources, sales enablement tools, lead and customer management through a dedicated Partner Portal, and ongoing product education and support.

Expanding Water Loss Prevention with Asurion

Phyn now powers the full suite of Asurion's LeakProtect offerings, starting with the Phyn Assist for LeakProtect Essential, Phyn Protect for LeakProtect Standard, and Phyn Protect XL for LeakProtect XL. Phyn is the only provider whose technology spans all three tiers of Asurion's LeakProtect program today, giving insurance carriers a consistent water loss prevention platform from entry-level coverage through whole-home monitoring with automatic shutoff.
