RIDGID announced the RPE 100 PEX Expander. Built for residential plumbing contractors, service plumbers and commercial installers, the RPE 100 expands RIDGID’s product portfolio while meeting the demand for PEX installation solutions in new construction and service applications. With threaded, interchangeable heads, the expander can handle common plumbing jobs and fits tubing sizes ranging from 3/8” to 1” PEX Type-A tubing.

The RPE 100 features AutoReturn technology, which automatically returns the expansion head to the closed position after each expansion. This aims to eliminate the need for manual resets, help ensure expanders are never left open between connections, and save time. The RPE 100 is powered by a high‑efficiency brushless motor and an auto‑rotating head. This compact, lightweight tool offers an ergonomic paddle trigger for precise control in tight spaces and includes dual-press activation to reduce accidental startups. It features a belt hook for portability, a built-in work light for use in low-light areas, and maintenance indicators.
