Cerro Flow Products LLC CopperBOSS Copper Plumbing Tube Payoff System
CopperBOSS is available in ASTM B88 NSF 61-G certified Type K copper tubing in three sizes.

Cerro Flow Products LLC has introduced CopperBOSS, a patent-pending bulk copper plumbing tube payoff system designed for lead service line replacement, underground domestic water applications and new residential service line installations. The system combines long-length coils of Type K copper tubing with a truck-mounted reel, allowing contractors to cut custom lengths at the jobsite. It was developed to address the limitations of standard copper coil lengths, particularly for lead service line replacement projects, where continuous tubing is preferred to reduce the need for underground couplings.
CopperBOSS is available in ASTM B88 NSF 61-G certified Type K copper tubing in three sizes: ¾-inch (approximately 850 feet), 1-inch (approximately 600 feet) and 1¼-inch (approximately 350 feet). The truck-mounted system can hold two coils and includes a measuring wheel for cutting tubing to length in the field. According to Cerro, field installations in Michigan and Indiana demonstrated the potential to reduce material waste by up to 30%. The CopperBOSS payoff device and coil system are manufactured in the United States and are Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) compliant for publicly funded infrastructure projects. The product is available through Cerro's stocking wholesalers nationwide.
