April 2, 2026

Building on the steady stream of increases reported in late winter, the PHCP-PVF pricing environment has carried its momentum into early spring, with a new wave of adjustments taking hold across key product categories. As previously reported by Plumbing & Mechanical in its February–March 2026 pricing update, inflationary pressures tied to metals, resins and global supply dynamics continue to drive targeted increases rather than broad, across-the-board hikes.

The latest round of adjustments, effective from mid-March through mid-April, reflects that same trend, with manufacturers implementing measured increases across several categories, including venting systems, brass and PVF components, HVAC parts and copper fittings. Notably, several of the largest moves this cycle are concentrated in plastics and fittings, including a double-digit increase on PVC and CPVC pipe, alongside continued upward pressure on copper and brass-based products, reinforcing a pricing environment that remains active, but increasingly surgical in how and where increases are applied.

Z-Flex - 4% increase effective 3/17

Merit Brass - An average 6-12% price increase on select brass nipples, fittings, and valve product lines effective 3/23

Charlotte Pipe – 10% increase on PVC & CPVC plastic pipe effective 3/26

Matco-Norca - An average 2.5% price increase on all products effective 4/1

ICP Parts - 4% increase effective 4/1

Honeywell – 5% increase effective 4/1

NDL – 5% increase on ACR & PAC copper fittings effective 4/2

IPEX – 10% increase on select products effective 4/6

Robershaw – average increase of 6% effective 4/6

Crane - 5.3% price adjustment across the following NAVG product lines: Flowseal®, Center Line®, and Duo-Chek® effective 4/6

National Comfort Products - 7% increase effective 4/16
