The new content series highlights the real people, projects and innovations shaping the trades.

RIDGID announced that it is a founding sponsor of Mechanical Hub Media’s new “American Tradesperson” Series, a six- episode docuseries designed to spotlight the people, stories, manufacturers and challenges shaping today’s skilled trades launching on April 2, 2026. According to the company, the partnership reinforces RIDGID’s ongoing commitment to supporting trade professionals beyond tools alone, by investing in education, storytelling, and platforms that elevate contractor voices and advance the industry.
Supporting the skilled trades through storytelling and education
In teaming up with Mechanical Hub Media, RIDGID is supporting the development of helping to build a platform that authentically reflects the realities of today’s contractors, while highlighting innovation, resilience and pride in the industry.
“RIDGID has always believed in elevating the people behind the trades,” said Maddie Gamble, brand & integrated marketing manager, RIDGID for Emerson. “Partnering with Mechanical Hub Media on the American Tradesperson Series allows us to help amplify contractor stories, shine a spotlight on innovation on the jobsite, and continue supporting the people who install and maintain the world’s infrastructure every day.”

The docuseries is designed to spotlight the people, stories, manufacturers and challenges shaping today’s skilled trades. Through on-location storytelling and real-world perspectives, the series captures the grit, resilience and innovation of contractors and professionals across the country.
The premiere episode, “After the Fires,” takes viewers to Pacific Palisades and Altadena, California, where devastating fires in January 2025 left lasting impacts on homes, businesses and communities. The episode follows tradespeople on the front lines of recovery — rebuilding infrastructure, restoring essential services and helping families and neighborhoods move forward. It highlights not only the technical expertise required in disaster recovery, but also the human commitment behind the work. Additional episodes will continue to roll out throughout the year and combine field interviews, jobsite footage and expert insights to deliver a comprehensive look at the opportunities and challenges facing the industry today.
