Lennox announced that vice president and general manager Quan Nguyen has elected to retire effective February 2, 2024, after 13 years with the company. Lanessa Bannister, vice president of sales and stores, has succeeded Nguyen as vice president and general manager effective immediately.

Lennox said Bannister is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of experience and brings a tremendous amount of industry and business expertise. She joined Lennox in 2014 and has served roles across the corporation, including commercial district manager, commercial regional sales director, commercial national accounts director, vice president of Lennox stores, vice president of residential sales, and most recently vice president of Lennox residential stores and sales.  

“Lanessa’s experience within Lennox across both residential and commercial segments, combined with one step and two step distribution knowledge, and demonstrated leadership skills uniquely qualify her for this role,” said Gary Bedard, president and executive vice president, Lennox Home Comfort Solutions segment. “I am confident that our Lennox Residential HVAC organization will achieve profitable growth under her leadership.”

Before joining Lennox, Baninister held senior leadership positions with Carrier Enterprise, including president and general manager, spanning the residential, commercial, and aftermarket sales businesses. Lanessa holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Mississippi State University and a master’s degree in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

The position of vice president of residential stores and sales is being filled by Steve Pitlik. He joined Lennox in 2011 and has held several roles including vice president of sourced products, vice president of stores, regional sales director, director of product management and director of customer support. Prior to joining Lennox, Pitlik held senior leadership roles at Dr Pepper, Snapple and Target Corp. across multiple disciplines within supply chain and product management.
