Italian manufacturer Fratelli Pettinaroli acquires Jomar Group
The full acquisition was finalized this summer and follows a 50% acquisition in 2001.

Fratelli Pettinaroli S.p.A., an Italian-based manufacturer of valves and related products, has recently acquired the Jomar Group. After more than 30 years of partnership and following the 50% acquisition in 2001, the 100% acquisition was finalized in summer 2018.
Jomar is a North American manufacturer and supplier of ball valves, butterfly valves, actuation, check valves, balancing valves and strainers with several patented valve solutions. Positioned in the plumbing, LP and natural gas, industrial and hydronic markets, Jomar has continued to provide a diverse product line that has adapted to industry change throughout the past 55 years.
“Being fully owned by one of the leading manufacturers of valves in the world is a huge step forward for Jomar,” Jomar President Paul Craig said. “The manufacturing and product development resources now available will provide the vehicle for Jomar to continue growth through innovation for years to come.”
Operating in a 50,000-square-foot warehouse out of their headquarters in Warren, Michigan, Jomar additionally provides stocking warehouses and manufacturer’s representatives nationwide. Craig, along with the entire management team, will remain with the company.
