Brasscraft helps plumber after thieves steal his tools
Thieves stole more than $4,000 in tools and equipment from Faeq Alsaidi's work van

Brasscraft Mfg. Co. was able to help a local plumbing contractor with a new drain cleaning machine, tools and plumbing products after a robbery left him without the tools he needed to work.
Faeq Alsaidi, 49, was the victim of a robbery in September. Thieves stole more than $4,000 in tools and equipment from his work van. Alsaidi has owned his own plumbing business in Dearborn for nearly 20 years and is the sole provider for his family.
“At Brasscraft, we know how important a plumber is and what they do for us day in and day out,” Brasscraft President Tom Assante said. “When we heard about Mr. Alsaidi being robbed, we wanted to do the right thing and step in to help him get back on his feet. It is important to us that we can help a valued customer like Mr. Alsaidi get back to work where he is using his trade to help others every day and support his family.
The Alsaidi family expressed their great appreciation.
“Thank you all for helping my dad,” Ahmahd Alsaidi, Faeq Alsaidi’s son, said.
