128 Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric officially announced the launch of its new "Donate with 128" charity video campaign.

Inspired in part by the family-owned company’s successful Hurricane Harvey charity drive that filled their office with donated goods for families in need, the Donate with 128 campaign is a monthly initiative to donate $1,000 to a different charity every month throughout the year. Each donation will be featured on the company’s social media along with a contest for a $100 gift card.

“When we saw the outpouring of assistance for our Hurricane Harvey drive, we were truly inspired to continue giving back to our community,” 128 Plumbing Director of Business Development Lynsie Sabbatelli said. “It was great to see our coworkers, customers, families and members of the community put in some hard work and pitch in to help those in need. Rather than deciding on one specific charity to partner with going forward, we realized that we have the perfect platform to increase awareness for multiple charities.”

With the goal of creating more awareness, 128 Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric will post a video to their Facebook page highlighting the specific charity receiving that month’s donation and inviting fans and followers to enter a drawing for the gift card. The winner will not only receive the gift card, but the donation will be made in their name. Charities receiving donations so far have been the American Heart Association, in honor of American Heart Month, and The Jimmy Fund, in honor of Red Sox spring training.

“Not only will we be donating $1,000 to a charity every month, but we hope to inspire those participating in our contests to engage with these charities as well,” 128 Plumbing General Manager Ryan Williams said. “We’re passionate about improving homeowner’s lives every day with our services, but we’re also passionate about the many other needs in our community. We hope the Donate with 128 campaign inspires our community to learn more about these charities and find ways to get involved or donate.”
