American Actor, author, motivational speaker, war hero and retired U.S. Army soldier J.R. Martinez will present "Plugging into Your Superpowers" at the 2017 Service World Expo Sept. 7-8 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas.

Martinez’s story is compelling and inspirational. He endured severe burns to over 34% of his body when his Humvee hit a roadside bomb. While three other soldiers were thrown out of the vehicle going up in flames, Martinez was stuck inside. His fight for survival is why the world stopped to listen.

Some may recognize Martinez from Dancing with the Stars, where he won the show's 13th season. However, his acting career began on the Emmy Award-winning daytime drama All My Children. Since then, he’s appeared on numerous television shows such as The Oprah Winfrey Show and Ellen.
