Asahi’s Asahitec PP-RCT piping systems for plumbing and HVAC applications are comprised of two systems: Climatec for hydronic heating applications and Watertec for potable water. Pipe in both systems is manufactured with patented Fibercore technology, which minimizes expansion and contraction by up to 75% and reduces installation costs by minimizing expansion loops and supports. It includes both molded socket fusion fittings (20 mm to 125 mm) and molded butt fusion fittings (160 mm to 315 mm), and molded large-diameter fittings up to 630 mm. It is NSF 14-pw certified for potable water applications and features lead-free brass adapter fittings.
