G. Edward Van Giesen, MLA, ARCSA AP, is the national sales manager and regulatory affairs advisor for Brae/Watts Rainwater Technologies. He has extensive experience in the design and installation of commercial and residential rainwater systems. He is the principal author for the 2009 “Georgia Rainwater Harvesting Guidelines,” published by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. He assisted the states of North Carolina and Georgia in developing plumbing codes permitting rainwater use in coordination with the International Code Council in 2009-2010.
