The modular prefab approach was selected for its
shorter building timeframe of approximately two months, reduction in material
waste, and a closed building environment where exposure to the elements do not
exist.
It is the nation’s first subdivision designed to
generate scientific, whole-house performance data while providing all the
typical comforts of home to its occupants.
