Sarkis’ entry (pictured) described an installation at a 10,000-sq.-ft. home in Saint Catharines, Ont. He and his team selected two KNIGHT heating boilers with inputs of 150,000 Btu/hr. for the job, which included five zones of radiant in-floor heating and two high-velocity air handlers.

The thermostat can be used as a floor-temperature sensor, an air-temperature sensor or both. It automatically adjusts to changing external conditions to give optimal start-up times so there is no wasted energy.

It features a twin conductor with 15’ cold lead and is available in 30 to 468 linear ft. at 120V and 55 to 935 linear ft. at 240V.

Its ability to detect and visualize heat, including differences in temperature, allows users to see in complete darkness.

Variable-speed ECM blower motors are standard on all Roth equipment. The coated air coils prevent corrosion and ensure longevity.
