FlirOne

Flir Systems’s Flir One is a compact, easy-to-use thermal imaging device compatible with the iPhone 5 and 5s and fits like a protective case. Once mounted, it displays a live thermal image right on the phone’s screen. Its ability to detect and visualize heat, including differences in temperature, allows users to see in complete darkness. It can be applied in various contexts, including home improvement to spot temperature differences, outdoor recreation and security/safety.

The Flir One houses its own battery source that can power the device for two hours of continuous use and boost the phone’s battery life by up to 50%. Available this spring in grey, white and gold.
