18th annualEvening with the
Stars of Energy Efficiency awardsdinner to be held on Sept. 14, in Washington, D.C. The
black-tie gala recognizes individuals and organizations that demonstrate an
exemplary commitment to advancing energy efficiency.
Danfoss will be
honored for a number of revolutionary new products designed to advance energy
efficiency, including the patentedEcoflow valve, which achieves balanced distribution of
refrigerant in air-conditioning systems and avoids misdistribution in
evaporator circuits;Performer VSD compressor, which enhances efficiency and environmental safety while reducing noise
emissions; andERC102 control, which is designed to cut energy consumption in global commercial
refrigeration appliances and can save approximately 35 percent of energy costs
on a standard one-door glass door merchandiser.
