selected Danfoss to receive the Innovative Star of Energy Efficiency award later this year.
The Alliance to Save Energy has selected Danfoss to receive the Innovative Star of Energy Efficiency award at the organization’s 18th annual Evening with the Stars of Energy Efficiency awards dinner to be held on Sept. 14, in Washington, D.C. The black-tie gala recognizes individuals and organizations that demonstrate an exemplary commitment to advancing energy efficiency.
Danfoss will be honored for a number of revolutionary new products designed to advance energy efficiency, including the patented Ecoflow valve, which achieves balanced distribution of refrigerant in air-conditioning systems and avoids misdistribution in evaporator circuits; Performer VSD compressor, which enhances efficiency and environmental safety while reducing noise emissions; and ERC102 control, which is designed to cut energy consumption in global commercial refrigeration appliances and can save approximately 35 percent of energy costs on a standard one-door glass door merchandiser.
