Noted hydronic heating expert, industry educator/writer and recent recipient of the Carlson-Holohan Industry Award of Excellence Mark Eatherton announced he is leaving his post at Advanced Hydronics Inc. to pursue further endeavors educating contractors, wholesalers, owners “and anyone willing to listen and learn.”

Eatherton, an adjunct instructor at Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, Colo., intends to take his informative educational programs on the road. He currently has numerous teaching opportunities in New Jersey and Colorado scheduled for 2009.

In addition to his teaching duties, Eatherton intends to offer his well rounded expertise in the area of retrofit energy conservation efforts on multi-family buildings, as well as troubleshooting any and all mechanical systems and offering his unique design services.

Eatherton says he intends to continue to develop the Radiant Window project he has been involved with for the last few years. “This product represents the biggest weapon we have in our bag on the war against human discomfort and energy waste. Between the windows and high efficiency boiler retrofits, I can potentially reduce the energy consumption of a typical building by around 70 percent.”

According to Eatherton, accessibility is a unique and important aspect of his services; his expertise in hydronics and energy efficiency is available at any time. Or as he states: “Have bags and GPS, will travel.”
