Kansas City, Mo.-based KU Solar will distribute solar HVAC systems in the United States.

Kloben, Italy’s largest manufacturer of solar thermal equipment, and Universal, one of Italy’s largest solar integration companies, recently formed Kansas City, Mo.-based KU Solarto distribute their solar HVAC systems in the United States. KU Solar is introducing a scalable product line of units ranging in size from 3 to 20 tons and will stock packaged systems, components and all the necessary equipment to support the market. In addition, the company will provide engineering, installation support and training from its Kansas City office.

Solar HVAC systems use solar thermal collectors designed to take energy from the sun to provide cooling in the summer and heating in the winter. These systems can eliminate the increasing cost of purchasing electricity and natural gas to power conventional HVAC equipment.

KU Solar is seeking new dealers and installers in North America who are interested in growing their HVAC and/or solar integration business.
