Emerson announced the appointment of Chad Severson as president of its InSinkErator business.
Chad Severson has been named president of InSinkErator, a leading manufacturer food waste disposers and instant hot water dispensers, headquartered in Racine, Wis.
Severson was previously president of Emerson Tool Co. He succeeds Tim Ferry, who will serve in a new role as Emerson’s group vice president for Tools and Home Products.
“Chad Severson brings strong management skills, professionalism and industry leadership to his new role within Emerson. His team will continue to drive innovation and new growth for InSinkErator,” Ferry said.

In 2006 he was appointed president of Knaack and named president of Emerson Tool Co. in 2011.
