Service Nation Inc. and BNP Media announce new partnership to create Service World Expo

November 10, 2015

Service Nation Inc. and BNP Media announced they will combine forces to create a new, interactive seminar and trade show event for residential contractors in HVAC, plumbing and electrical services called Service World Expo.

The two companies will work to make the seminar and trade show experience better for residential contractors, with a focus on three objectives:
1. to introduce cutting edge products and services;
2. to produce networking and learning experiences with global experts and industry heroes; and
3. to provide a format for attendees to obtain information, products, and tools necessary for immediate growth and performance.

Service Nation Inc. CEO Matt Michel, promised, “We will enhance the traditional contractor seminar and trade show experience with a new, more robust, model that will become the industry standard.” Speakers will interact with contractors in formal and more relaxed interaction sessions, focusing on leadership, management, sales, technology, wealth management, and expansion.

The group will also reinvent the typical trade show experience, extending network opportunities inside the exhibit hall with a unique floor plan and enhanced user and exhibitor experience. Michel said, “Our goal is to get contractors talking, discovering and learning, so that they leave excited about products and services that can catapult their businesses forward. Instead of asking contractors to visit the show floor out of obligation, we want to make it fun, entertaining, and informative.”

Bob Miodonski, group publisher of BNP Media’s Plumbing Group, whose titles include Plumbing & Mechanical and Reeves Journal, confirmed the focus on bringing leading-edge products, services and thought leaders together. “This is an incredibly exciting time in our industry when contractors not only can leverage new technology, but also leverage new thinking inside and outside our industry to apply in their companies.”

Mike Murphy, publisher of The Air Conditioning, Heating, & Refrigeration NEWS, stated, “We are thrilled to partner with Service Nation Inc. to bring innovation, technology and exceptional minds all together in one place for a remarkable event.”

Service World Expo kicks off in 2016

The debut of Service World Expo will be Oct 26-28, 2016, at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas. The event will be open to all residential contractors, manufacturers and service providers in the HVAC, plumbing and electrical industries.
