Jones Stephens, a Hardware Holdings, LLC company, has expanded its distribution capabilities to the West Coast and is now fulfilling orders from its new Valencia, Calif. distribution center. A formal dedication ceremony took place on June 10, 2015.

This new investment is part of the Jones Stephens’ We Got It… West Coast initiative designed to bring the best selection of products with the highest level of customer care directly and efficiently to Western U.S.-based customers.

The Valencia distribution center supports 5,000 most-frequently ordered Jones Stephens plumbing and MRO products. The new location provides faster, more cost-effective replenishment of these core products to customers located in Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Hawaii and Alaska.

In most cases, orders placed by 2:00 PM PST will be delivered by the following morning, plus a Will-Call Window allows orders to be picked up at the new facility in just two hours.

“The addition of our Valencia distribution center allows us to better meet the needs of all our customers — especially our regional partners west of the Rockies — in a timely and cost effective manner,” explains Michele Hudec, VP & GM, Commercial & Industrial Division. “It’s all part of our value proposition — to minimize our customers’ stock-outs and maximize their inventory efficiency. We want our regional partners to look to Jones Stephens as a national specialty plumbing and MRO products company offering the convenience and service level of a local supplier.”
