The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors — National Association presents its CONNECT 2014 convention Oct. 8-10 in New Orleans. Keynote speaker General Russel L. Honoré will discuss how he restored order in the city following the 2005 Hurricane Katrina and apply his proven strategies to the needs of small-business owners.
Education topics include best practices in hot water system design, how to keep employees safe and healthy, unintended consequences of water conservation, mobile technologies in the field, social media best practices, update on new water heater regulations, soldering new lead-free products, and construction technology trends.
In addition, the PHCC Educational Foundation hosts the Plumbing Apprentice Contest and HVAC Apprentice Contest at CONNECT 2014.
