LA-CO Industries launched its first “LA-CO Challenge” program, which urges plumbing contractors to join the fight against prostate cancer. Effective May 1, LA-CO will contribute 25 cents from the sale of every 1/2-pint container of Slic-tite thread sealant sold until the company reaches its goal — a $10,000 donation to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
“The majority of plumbing contractors are men and every 2.1 minutes, another man is diagnosed with prostate cancer,” said Dan Kleiman, LA-CO’s chief executive office. “As a prostate cancer survivor, the search for a cure is a cause very close to my heart.”
