GROHE has announced its New York office will officially be the GROHE Americas regional headquarters. In the next few months GROHE will start to transition its leadership team and sales and marketing functions from Bloomingdale, Ill. to New York City. Its Customer and Technical Service and Logistics/Warehousing groups will stay in the Chicago area.
GROHE believes these changes will help the long-term success of the company. “New York is the center of the U.S. design world, so it was a natural fit for us to build a larger presence here. In the heart of the Flatiron District, the GROHE Live! Center is operating as a Manhattan base for training, events and product launches as well as the new regional headquarters for GROHE Americas.
“It also puts our global Project Business closer to key international architects, designers, and project specifiers on a more consistent and personalized basis. As a one-stop resource, this new location provides a more centralized base for us to provide the right level of support, training and inspiration for GROHE's professional partners and more closely maintain our international ties, which we are confident will help continue to grow our U.S. and global business,” said Franz Droege, president & CEO, GROHE Americas.
In 2011, GROHE Americas opened its New York office and started the GROHE Live! Center – a destination stop for customers, architects, designers and developers to learn about the GROHE brand and its product line. The 15,000-sq.-ft. center is located on New York City’s world-famous Fifth Avenue. Visitors are able to test and experience the company’s products to really know how to make the perfect selection.
New York joins GROHE’s other international business locations in London, Singapore, Bangalore, India and Dusseldorf, Germany.
