Friedrich Air Conditioning’s two new ductless split systems feature variable-capacity inverter technology, which is available on its full line of ductless split products. Inverter technology varies the compressor, condenser and indoor fan so the unit reaches the desired temperature faster and maintains it more accurately. This technology adjusts capacity on demand and can reduce energy consumption. Both models feature auto-shut flaps, which close when the unit is off for a sleeker appearance, as well as a 24-hour timer, LCD remote, continuous air sweep, auto restart, washable air filters and four fan speeds.
