Memphis, Tenn.-based American Residential Services (ARS) has purchased "Will" Fix It, a San Antonio plumbing, heating and cooling contracting company, according to the San Antonio Business Journal. The purchase price was not disclosed.

ARS will keep the company's brand name, staff and operational structure.

"Our customers will continue to receive the same high-quality service that we have always provided under the 'Will' Fix It name," said Will Hawkins, who founded "Will" Fix It in 1994. "This agreement simply allows us to grow our services with the backing of a national company."

ARS President and CEO Dave Slott says the acquisition represents the company's expansion into the San Antonio market.

American Residential Services is owned by private equity firms Caxton-Iseman Capital Inc. and Royal Palm Capital Partners Inc., as well as management.
