Students are eligible to apply for a Nexstar scholarship if they will be enrolled during the 2010-2011 academic year in one of the following program areas:
- An apprenticeship program, while working full-time for a licensed plumbing, HVACR or electrical contractor;
- A technical community college, working toward a plumbing, HVACR or electrical degree; or
- An undergraduate or graduate degree program at a four-year college or university, majoring in mechanical or electrical engineering, accounting, business administration or other field with the intent of entering the plumbing, HVACR or electrical industry.
