The National Standard Plumbing Code Committee will consider proposed NSPC changes at a public hearing scheduled for Aug. 21, 2008, with a possible second day of Aug. 22. 

The hearing will begin at 8 am ET at the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J. The code changes accepted by the committee will be included in the 2009 National Standard Plumbing Code, scheduled for publication in early 2009.

Proposed code changes are due April 24, 2008. For a copy of the code change form, visit www.phccweb.org under “Contractor Resources-Code and Technical Support,” or contact Julie Turner. The committee, composed of contractors, engineers and inspectors who voluntarily serve to revise and interpret the code, will meet to review these proposed changes May 16-17 at the PHCC headquarters office in Falls Church, Va.
