Arthur B. Brown, 99, co-founder of the Holby Valve Co. in New York City, died Dec. 31, 2007. He became a New York City licensed master plumber at the age of 21. Along with his brother, William Brown, he helped develop and market Holby Tempering Valves in 1930. He was involved in many civic and philanthropic organizations in New York City.
