The World Toilet Organization set aside Nov. 19 to increase awareness among toilet users about their duty to maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene from a health and safety standpoint. Proper sanitation protects water resources, improves health, provides dignity, and increases agricultural production.
The WTO encourages all toilet users to demonstrate proper toilet etiquette not only on World Toilet Day, but all year round!
