MCA Of Metro Washington Names New President

The Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington named Mark Cronin, president and owner of Paramount Mechanical Corp. (Manassas, Va.), as its 2006 president. Other officers elected were Matt Hahr of John J. Kirlin (Rockville, Md.) as president-elect; and Carey Dove of M&M Welding & Fabricators (Gaithersburg, Md.) as secretary-treasurer.
In related news, John E. McKee, business manager of Plumbers Local 5, was elected chairman of the CAUSE board for 2006. CAUSE, the mechanical Contractors and Unions Seal of Excellence, is a combined labor-management organization of the MCA of Metropolitan Washington, Steamfitters Local 602 and Plumbers Local 5 that works to promote the image of the mechanical industry in the metro Washington area.
