System Sensor, a manufacturer of fire detection and notification devices, received its certification of compliance to the Construction Products Directive. The CPD was introduced by the European Union to ensure products are compliant with European health, safety and environmental protection laws.

Any product that meets the mandated requirements is indicated with a CE marking and is permitted to be sold within the member states. Currently, System Sensor is the only manufacturer whose waterflow switches are compliant with CPD EN 12259-5.
