Quietside Corp. has identified the source of the reported lock-out problem with the QVM9 boiler. The problem was found to be electrical interference generated by rapid cycles of the boiler's ignition transformer and gas valve safety solenoid coils, which caused the microprocessor to block out commands from the FR5 thermostat and the boiler would not operate.
