The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) certified Mansfield Plumbing Products Inc.'s low-flush toilet model after it passed testing procedures and program requirements in the LADWP Ultra-Low Flush Toilet Rebate Program. The Mansfield toilet is the only unit to pass all the tests and receive full certification.
The program was established in the early 1990s to improve water conservation. It targets consumers, who are encouraged to replace older, high water volume toilets with low-flush units. More than 1.5 million residential toilets already have been switched to the ultra-low flush units, some of which are Mansfield models.
