Anvil International Foundry Expansion On Target
Fittings and hanger manufacturer nears completion of expansion program.
Anvil International Inc. and the Mueller Group announced it is on schedule to complete its $40 million foundry expansion program in early 2001. Anvil International, a Portsmith, NJ-based fittings and hanger manufacturer, will add three Disa molding lines once the final phase is completed.

The expansion will help Anvil International consolidate cast-iron fittings and flanged products production at its Statesboro, Ga., plant. These products, plus the three new molding lines, will be manufactured in the company's Columbia, Pa., and Albertville, Ala., facilities within the next year.
