The Mechanical Contractors Association of Eastern Missouri Inc. and Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local Union No.562 will provide heating system inspections to hundreds of disabled and needy homeowners in the St. Louis area this fall during their 14th annual "Heat's-On" program.
The two organizations will donate time, resources and materials valued at approximately $100 per house, with a goal to reach 600 homes. During this year's program conducted on Oct. 7 a 34-point inspection will include cleaning boilers, water heaters and furnaces.
Eligible recipients of these services were identified by the City of St. Louis Department of Human Services, Energy Care Inc. and Home Services. For more information, contact MCA of Easern Missouri Inc. at 314/644-3900.
