Rural Utilities Of Oklahoma Stopped

Rural electric cooperatives (RECs) introduced legislation to remove the "rural" from their title to expand
unfair competitive practices into the urban and suburban areas of Oklahoma. But lobbying kept the bill in
check with arguments against any new introduction of legislation until the deregulation process is finished.
