Axiom: “In the long run, prediction and prevention are always better than presumption and patch-up.” That’s the English translation of recently discovered scrolls believed to have been written by an ancient Roman plumber named “Hydronicus Unprofitus,” quite possibly the oldest hydronics “dead man.”
Wouldn’t that be a profound discovery if it were in fact true? Especially if ol’ Hydronicus wrote it after fixing a shredded paddle wheel in one of his lead-piped heating systems.
