The industry loses three friends
John C. Bock
John C. Bock, president of Bock Water Heaters, has passed away. After graduating from Northland College in Ashland, Wis., Bock began to work at his father's water heater company. In 1990, after his brother, Robert, died, John took over as company president/CEO. Bock was involved in several industry organizations, including GAMA and ASHRAE. Bock appointed his successor, Donna Sheehan, in February.
Dennis Killelea
Dennis Killelea, general manager for Hammond Valve Co., passed away peacefully at his home in Verona, Wis., April 22. He fought a three-year battle with cancer before passing at age 49. He is survived by his wife, four children, other relatives and many friends.
Ron Crowell
Ron Crowell, 58, national sales manager for Pearl Baths for the past 11 years, died April 6 of bladder cancer. He spent most of his 36-year plumbing industry career as a salesman for Moen, but also served for brief periods with Grohe and two Minneapolis area wholesalers.
