Winners Named In Halsey Taylor Promotion
Rod Stone of Applied Mechanical Systems in Farmersville, Ohio, is off to the 2000 Daytona 500 as the grand-prize winner of the "Race To The Millennium With Halsey Taylor" promotion.
Last summer, contractors could enter the promotion every time they purchased certain Halsey Taylor water coolers from their wholesaler. Stone, who purchased the winning item from Dayton Winnelson, will receive a trip for two, including round-trip airfare, three-night hotel accommodations, Superstretch Terrace race tickets, and pre-race pit and tri-oval access to the 2000 Daytona 500.
Second-prize winner, Ricky Arias of Gemini Plumbing Inc. in Houston, Texas, won a Valvoline NASCAR go cart, which features a 5-horsepower engine, electric-start motor and ABS plastic body. Arias purchased his winning water cooler at Moore Supply in Houston.
Third-place winners received the Road Thunder 1/24 scale remote control truck.
