Laars Heating Systems has announced the launch of its new LT Series 150 model. The LT Series 150 and 199 models, both ENERGY STAR certified, provide functionality exceeding NOx regulations. The 150,000 BTU/Hr. LT 150 offers a 0.98 UEF (Uniform Energy Factor) and the 199,000 BTU/Hr. LT 199 offers a 0.96 UEF.

The models also include oval pipe stainless steel heat exchangers that aim to optimize heat transmission for rapid hot water delivery, scale reduction and better heating efficiency, with a life cycle 350% longer than a copper heat exchanger. The Laars LT Series 150 and 199 models offer flexibility for indoor or outdoor installation, natural gas or propane fuels and commercial or residential applications. Additional features of the models include servicing through outside air and water filter access, multiple venting material and diameter options, the ability to cascade multiple units, suitability for retrofitting or new installation and compliance with Title 24 requirements. The LT Series 150 and 199 Recirculation Models feature a built-in recirculation pump with three speed settings and a dedicated return line designed to eliminate hot water wait times; the pumps are controllable through time and/or temperature programmed scheduling or a push button.
