A. O. Smith announced the release of the Adapt Premium Condensing Commercial Water Heater. At the heart of the Adapt commercial unit is A. O. Smith’s patented single stainless steel helical heat exchanger. Designed based on A. O. Smith’s flagship Cyclone commercial water heating line, this helical construction aims to enhance thermal efficiency and corrosion resistance. Its helical design requires fewer weld points. The product delivers 199,000 BTU input and a uniform energy factor (UEF) of 0.95. An outdoor vent cap kit allows for universal installation and compatibility with ½-inch and ¾-inch gas lines. The Adapt commercial model is fuel convertible from natural gas to propane with an included conversion kit.
