The new line of wireless mesh sensors is designed to improve how hydronic and steam heating systems operate

tekmar has launched a new line of wireless mesh sensors designed to improve how hydronic and steam heating systems operate, especially in buildings where running new wiring is not practical. The sensors collect indoor and outdoor temperature data and communicate it directly to compatible tekmar controls. The lineup includes indoor and outdoor sensors, along with network extenders that help maintain reliable communication across the system. Together, they form a wireless mesh network that continues to operate even if one signal path is interrupted. Because the system is fully wireless, installation is more flexible. Contractors can place sensors where they are most effective without opening walls or routing new wiring.
When paired with compatible controls, the sensors support more consistent operation and can help reduce unnecessary energy use. Access to system data also allows for quicker adjustments and fewer on-site visits in many applications. tekmar wireless mesh sensors are designed to integrate with controls such as Smart Boiler Control 294 and Smart Steam Control 289, and can be used across a wide range of boiler systems.
