Travis Barnes appointed president & CEO of Barry Company

Barry Company announced the appointment of Travis Barnes as its new president. Barnes is a decorated U.S. Marine Corps veteran, entrepreneur and operator with deep experience in building businesses. He is best known as the founder of Hotel Tango Distillery, one of the nation’s first service-disabled veteran–owned distilleries. Under his leadership, Hotel Tango grew from a start-up into a nationally recognized brand, expanding distribution across multiple states and securing investment.
At Barry Company, Barnes will bring that same vision and energy to a wholesale plumbing business. His priorities will include strengthening operational efficiency, modernizing systems and technology, and expanding product offerings to better serve plumbing professionals in an evolving market. Barnes also plans to deepen Barry’s customer and supplier relationships while preserving the company’s family-oriented culture and commitment to employees.

A graduate of Indiana University and holder of a Juris Doctorate, Barnes has been recognized for his leadership both in business and in service. A combat-decorated Marine, he remains deeply involved in veteran and community organizations across Indiana.
