NTI Boilers takes Canadian contractors to visit headquarters in Italy

Week-long ventures showcased innovation, technology and unique culture.

A team from NTI Boilers joined 10 Canadian contractors on a trip to Ariston Group’s factories in Fabriano, Italy, exposing them to the technology, innovation and capabilities of the brand while also allowing them to experience the customs and history of the region.

The contractors joined a six-member NTI team that included executive leadership and Regional Sales Managers. NTI, which is based in Saint John, New Brunswick, covered the cost for the contractors, who met with CEO Maurizio Brusadelli and Vice President of the Americas Region, Carlo Andreatini.

“It was eye-opening, just seeing Ariston, what it all entails and how big the company is,’’ said Rylan Schaffer, who owns Schaffer Plumbing & Heating in Cardston, Alberta. “The trip reaffirmed what I bought into so many years ago and that its culture is still important. A different company is involved, but it still has the same values.”

The 5-day trip included a chance to experience the lifestyle and stunning attractions of the Marche region, which is known for its dramatic landscapes that are flanked by a 107-mile coastline along the Adriatic Sea and the Apennine Mountains. The trip included visits to historical landmarks — the Gradara Castle is a medieval fortress that dates back to the period between the 11th and 15th centuries — and delicious cuisine, blending informative sessions with cultural exploration.

The NTI team included Head of North America Heating Business at Ariston Group, Grzegorz Wojcik; Vice President of Sales in Canada, Andrew Smith; and Regional Sales Managers Travis Loewen, Robert Johnston, Gloria Coelho and Stacy Dennison.

“When you believe in something, you’re much better at your job,’’ Schaffer said. “Knowing the products, the customer support and having a company that stands behind their products makes me a better contractor. I’m better prepared to face the world when I have an excellent brand behind me. Where I’m from, a handshake still means something. Ariston and NTI have that same belief, and that’s why I like using their products for our jobs.”

The trip was the first time NTI Boilers treated contractors to visit the Ariston headquarters, but the successful venture is likely to be repeated in the future.

“The blend of informative sessions and cultural exploration made the visit both enlightening and thoroughly enjoyable,’’ Smith said. “The professional exchanges were insightful and highlighted the exciting trends in the Canadian market. These interactions helped us forge stronger connections and a deeper understanding between our teams.”
