Mestek announced Russel Zabel has joined its team as western sales manager – Boiler Group. He will be supporting RBI Water Heaters, Advanced Thermal Hydronics KN Series Boilers and Smith Cast Iron Boilers in the West, working closely with current personnel to cover the region.

Zabel comes to Mestek with over three decades of experience in the HVAC industry, which includes owning and operating his own manufacturer’s representative firm.

In addition to his experience with equipment sales and sales management, Zabel brings extensive knowledge of hydronic systems including over fourteen years working with RBI products.

“Russel’s expertise in equipment application and hydronic system design combined with his background in marketing and business development will enable him to cultivate a territory focused on business development, product support and customer relationships, ” Mestek Boiler Group Director of Sales Chad Sime said.

In addition to his responsibility as western sales manager, Zabel will also focus on several target markets on a broader scale. When he is not working, you can find him enjoying time at the beach and with his family. Zabel resides in San Diego.
