Armstrong’s line of Design Envelope Generation 5 pumps meet the IE5 efficiency standard for motors. This includes the Design Envelope Tango parallel pumps (pictured) and Design Envelope Vertical In-Line pumps up to 10 hp. The pumps feature iECM motor technology, delivering both a low installation cost and efficiency over the operating life of the pump. The new models can deliver up to 96.6% motor efficiency. Meeting the IE5 efficiency standard represents a 20% reduction in motor energy losses from IE4. The new Generation 5 iECM motor technology also meets the more stringent IE5 efficiency standards for European markets.
