Since President Biden took office, over 367,000 lead pipes have been replaced nationwide, benefitting 918,000 people.

The event arrives as the water sector prepares for the implementation of the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions regulation, offering a timely forum for infrastructure professionals to address this critical challenge and explore comprehensive strategies for ensuring resilient and reliable drinking water systems.

This partnership comes in response to the revised Lead and Copper Rule (LCRR), which mandates that all water utilities must provide an initial inventory of their LSLs as a step to help eliminate the estimated 9.2 million LSLs in the next decade.
