USA Todayreports: It’s an air quality issue. Smokey boilers have
neighbors fuming, and seeking to restrict or ban outdoor wood boilers.
USA Todayrecently
reported on an Illinois couple who sued a neighbor that heats his home with an
outdoor wood boiler. The couple complained of headaches and sore throats due to
smoke and other air quality issues.
It highlights a growing number, USA Today says, who are being “smoked
out of their homes.”
“They are using local ordinances, lawsuits and
the Internet to restrict or ban the devices.”
